Well, the season is underway, and I guess its best to start with three real positives. We had a full team out, great support and ‘debutants’ did good.

Obliged to put St James in to bat because of our own weak batting, Arun toiled manfully for two and a half hours under a blistering sun
Arun returned to winning ways on Sunday with a reasonably comfortable victory
Anyone who turned up at the East Preston ground at teatime on Bank Holiday Monday, could have been forgiven for fearing the worst
