On a beautiful day at the East Preston ground, Wanderers posted a respectable total with contributions from Mark Evans (Sam Mellor's cousin), Graham Rees, Mark Rose and Ian Clarke
We bowled tightly and for the first 20 overs East Preston struggled to keep up with the required run rate; however a few loose overs mid innings opened the way for EP to overhaul our total with a few overs to spare
We competed well throughout the game and this now looks like a regular fixture. Throughout the season we have scored in excess of 150 in virtually every game but our bowling has lacked penetration and our fielding can still be, (ahem), variable
